A PDF binder of all documents a judge needs for the day.

Judges need the ability to easily access and review documents while they are in a court session or at home preparing for a court session. Transitioning from a paper environment to an electronic environment creates a dependency for the Judge to make sure that the case management and the document management systems are functioning and accessible during the court sessions, otherwise they must print out all pertinent information regarding each court session.

Many Judges and Clerks feel this dependency threatens the courtroom session or frustrates the value of shifting to an electronic environment. Technology is needed to allow the court sessions to progress independent of the case management and document management system. CASEadia is a technology that helps the clerks create a single PDF binder with bookmarks that contain all the needed documents for a given day or court session and allows the Judge to download the electronic files onto their personal computer offering uninterruptible document access.
