Sr. Software Engineer

Description

Design, implement, test, and deploy web-based applications using Java, EJB, JSP, Servlets, SQL, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

Skills/Experience

• Solid Java and JDBC skills
• At least a BS degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience
• At least 7 years of software development experience
• Server-side programming experience, particularly JSP and Servlets
• OOP
• Proficient HTML experience
• Experience writing JavaScript code that will work in IE/Netscape/Mozilla browsers
• Experience with writing SQL
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Hard-working and self-motivated
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently yet fit well within a team
• Understanding of web network issues
• Starting salary: DOE

Preferred Skills

• Application Server (Tomcat, JBoss, etc.)
• XML
• Oracle/SQL Server
• Document Conversion/iText
