eRoomSystem Technologies Forges Alliance With Leading Software Application Developer
Tybera Development Group to Lend Expertise in Upgrading Systems and Accelerating Development of Future eRoomSystem Products
LAS VEGAS, Nevada – June 26, 2001 – Looking to further enhance the effectiveness of its leading line of computerized in-room service products, eRoomSystem Technologies, Inc. has formed an alliance with Tybera Development Group, Inc., a software development and consulting firm. Under the agreement, Tybera will focus its significant software development and application expertise on upgrading all software and hardware products eRoomSystem currently markets, as well as developing new applications for future systems.
The alliance was announced jointly by Gregory L. Hrncir, Vice President of Business Affairs for eRoomSystem Technologies, and Dallas Powell, President and CEO of Tybera Development Group.
"We’re pleased to forge this alliance with Tybera Development Group, which has worked with many Fortune 500 companies," Hrncir said. "Teaming up with this group of talented software developers will allow us to further accelerate development of future products."
Powell, a 14-year veteran of the software industry and former Manager/Director of WordPerfect Corporation, Novell, Inc. and Corel Corporation, said hoteliers will be the ultimate beneficiaries of the eRoomSystem/Tybera alliance.
"With our expertise in application development and the web-enabling of these applications, we’ll be helping eRoomSystem improve its software and hardware products for the hospitality industry," Powell said. "For eRoomSystem’s existing refreshment centers, safes and new energy-management system, there will be improved processes and products provided to hoteliers. In addition, the process of developing future systems will be greatly improved and streamlined."
Motivation for linking up with Tybera, Hrncir said, was offering hoteliers the ability to enhance their profits with improved data-gathering, inventory control and sales-analysis capabilities through eRoomSystem’s line of computer-based in-room service centers.
"We’ve been offering those kinds of capabilities all along in our products," Hrncir said. "With Tybera’s help, now we’ll be offering even more state-of-the art technology to benefit our client hotels."
