Tybera Signs Development Contract with Coltera, Inc. Internationally known intellectual property services provider Coltera signs development contract with Tybera
The contract calls for the development of a Knowledge System Library (KSL) that will help patent attorneys and development engineers in their search for prior art. The KSL will initially be focused on art for the mobile/wireless industry and include private libraries not otherwise available to the public. The project will utilize database management, document management, scanning, and controlled electronic filing input behaviors. Tybera will incorporate the use of its eFlex electronic filing exchange technology to facilitate the secure transfer and posting of proprietary and public information such as technical papers and search outputs. "We're excited to incorporate our efiling technology into a vertical market other than courts to show how versatile it is," said Bruce Walters, Chief Technology Officer at Tybera. "eFlex has application for any market that requires the secure transfer and storage of business critical documents." With eFlex as its base, Coltera's services will be able to greatly improve the prior art data that an attorney must search against through filtered input processes and therefore enhance the information recovered and reduce the time an attorney spends on the research and study of prior art material.
