Press Press Releases 2004
Tybera Selected by ACS to Provide eFiling Technology Statewide for Delaware Judiciary OREM, UT October 25, 2004 / Tybera Development Group, Inc., a leading provider of electronic filing technology, today announced that it has contracted with Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., (NYSE: ACS), to provide electronic filing technology to the Delaware Administrative Office of the Courts, statewide. The contract, if fully exercised, brings efiling to the Delaware Supreme Court, the Court of Chancery, Superior Court, Family Court, Court of Common Pleas, and the Justice of the Peace Court in each of the State's counties. ACS selected Tybera's eFlex efiling software as the efiling solution of its Delaware Courts Organized to Serve (COTS) Statewide court automation project. The goal of COTS is to enhance internal court operations through greater automation and process standardization. When all components are implemented, the ACS system will coordinate case and financial management information, provide integrated case data, and allow citizens and the justice community to interact with the court through web access to court information and electronic filing of court documents. Ultimately, the judiciary expects these solutions to help improve access to justice for citizens and promote more expedient and accurate exchange of data among the courts and other justice agencies, such as law enforcement and corrections facilities. Tybera's eFlex electronic filing solution was chosen for its unique ability to provide two-way automation between courts, attorneys, and government agencies, which reduces or eliminates manual data entry, savings courts both time and money. "Tybera is pleased to work with ACS on their contract with the Delaware Judiciary," said Dallas Powell, President of Tybera. "We are excited to be working with an industry leader like ACS and have our efiling software be implemented statewide in Delaware." About ACS About Tybera
