Nevada Supreme Court to Implement eFiling The State's top court to allow appeals from trial courts to be filed electronically using Tybera's eFlex eFiling Exchange OREM, UT February 6, 2006 - The Nevada Supreme Court has become one of the first appellate courts in the country to offer electronic filing to attorneys, made possible by Tybera's eFlex efiling software. Nevada has long been a leader in using technology to improve a user's experience when requesting services from the State. This commitment to the highest level of service continues with the Supreme Court offering efiling at the appeals level. Electronic filing will offer a tremendous benefit to the court and to the attorney filing appeals. The efficiencies and automation efiling brings will save both the court and attorney a lot of time and money. "With the addition of the Nevada Supreme Court to our expanding list of customers, Tybera is demonstrating that its software licensing model, where courts maintain control of documents, fees, and filings, is the preferred model by a growing number of courts," said Dallas Powell, president of Tybera. "The Supreme Court of Nevada is a good example of why appeals courts prefer a non-transaction fee model of efiling," he stated. Over the past two years Tybera has added several important customers to its portfolio who are, or will soon be implementing efiling across several jurisdictions. With no mandatory efiling transaction fee, the court is free to implement efiling for civil, criminal or appeals cases and not worry about how to encourage attorneys to use it. About Tybera
